Clinic Director
Julie Kominsky
Julie is currently the Billing Manager of Kominsky Chiropractic. Previously, Julie owned and operated Ideal Weight Loss of Beckley for 7 years.
She was the National Sales Manager of Creative Event Marketing in Atlanta where she worked for 10 years and is a graduate of Emory University and did undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was also on a swimming scholarship. Julie is currently the Chair of the Raleigh County Republican Executive Committee and previously sat on the Board of Directors of the Beckley Area Foundation and the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. The Kominsky's have a daughter, Alexandria who works as a Literary Agent for Dupree Miller in Dallas, TX and a son, Miles, who works as a Software Engineer for Credit Karma in Charlotte, NC.

Tammy Ellis
I am an Independence High School graduate, born and raised in the small town of Sophia. I am a mother of two and the daughter of two wonderful hard-working parents.
My roots have always been in southern West Virginia, and I have always had a passion for taking care of the people in my community. I like to spend my free time with my family and two dogs, but when I’m on the job I love working for Dr. Kominsky. We share a vision of making life a little easier for one person at a time.
Front Office Coordinator
Bryce Knapp
Meet Bryce Knapp, our Front Office Coordinator! Bryce is a Beckley native who gets her amazing work ethic, organization expertise and great demeanor from two hardworking parents.
After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, Bryce went on to Fairmont State University where she graduated with a degree in Community Health Education with emphasis on nutrition. Bryce was a volleyball stand out in high school earning Gatorade Player of the Year in the State of West Virginia. She continued her volleyball career at Fairmont State University where she won First-Team All-Conference and All-Region in 2022 along with winning the coveted Strength-and-Conditioning Award that same year. Bryce has an outgoing personality and in her spare time loves hanging out with her friends, family, and her two dogs Callie and Kiya. You can also find her reading mystery and romance novels and working out, lifting weights, and is currently learning to play golf. She is also known to love watching Disney movies. We are delighted she has joined our team here at Kominsky Chiropractic!

Maddison Halstead
Maddison is a hard worker who is always ready to learn more. After graduating from Shady Spring High School, She went on to graduate from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
She has always wanted to work in healthcare and help people when they need it most. She played many sports growing up and also enjoys working out. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Jax.
